Police Memorial Park Sunday morning September 11, 2016
Our family lives near the university so we never knew such a wonderful park for the police officers was in Las Vegas until Commissioner Larry Brown, Councilman Anthony and Sheriff Lombardo had a tribute to the police officers that helped save people on September 11, 2001. The 10-13 Club had a great event and served us all lunch with grilled sausages, cheeseburgers, fresh salads, everybody bonded to remember our fallen heroes. The children enjoyed the playground. Neighbors near the park were jogging on the clean trailers. The view from the top of the hill looked down upon the entire city of Las Vegas, Nevada.

The 10-13 Club
Join Councilman Anthony and the 10-13 Club of Las Vegas at Police Memorial Park Sunday morning for the annual memorial observance for those who died as a result of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. The 10-13 Club, a group of retired New York Police Department officers, will conduct the service, as well as a re-dedication of the memorial in the park, starting at 11 a.m. Police Memorial Park is located at 3250 Metro Academy Way.
“It’s been 15 years since Sept. 11, 2001, and the terrorism that claimed more law enforcement officers’ lives in the line of duty than any other single day in American history,” said Councilman Anthony. “We want to honor them and their sacrifice with our remembrance.”
