Bourbon Street, French Quarter, Jackson Square, Garden District, Lola brings New Orleans taste, atmosphere, sophisitication, and spice to Las Vegas, Nevada. City leaders met at Lola’s Louisiana Kitchen yesterday following the NFL Football Stadium Meeting and had a delightful time with Lola herself as she presented great gumbos, seafood, sausages and fine wines to the entire party. We didn’t want to leave. We were there all night. The last to leave, I have to admit, that the dishes were so delicious that I didn’t take pictures of any of the food, we were too busy eating to take photographs of the dishes. The conversation was lively, the interior classy, and conversation intellectual, and as soon as the crab cakes, salads, gumbo and jambalaya arrived to the table with fresh, buttered, toasted bread rolls, we started to dive into our large plates without taking photographs for our friends to see. So you will have to go there, but the community in Summerlin all embraces Lola’s New Orleans style Cajun spice as a special treat to living in Summerlin. You have to try this restaurant. I miss New Orleans. Lucky for all of us, Lola has brought her Louisiana kitchen cooking to us so that we don’t have to travel far.
