Atomic Liquors on Fremont Street Las Vegas Nevada
My friends are leaving town Sunday after the National Finals Rodeo and they wanted to enjoy their last night out, so we voted on Atomic and Dinos. They had a great time at Atomic. Felt nostalgic at the famous bar they had heard so much about. Atomic Liquors has the popularity of numerous TV shows to push the popularity of the bars Fremont Street location. After numerous interviews with people that used to work there and work there now with the new ownership after shows on CNN, Anthony Bourdain endorsements, and of course, being apart of the rejuvenation of DTLV, Downtown Las Vegas, the Atomic is the hip bar, the local bar, the Fremont Street version of Dino’s Lounge or the Peppermill in Clark County for Convention Center crowds. Friends from out of town found the experience nostalgic in the same way they found browsing through the History Channel’s Pawn Shop on Las Vegas Blvd. Tourists definitely like the fact that they can tell stories about the place that Anthony Bourdain drinks at. There was one challenge to the place: Dining. Where are the dishes when your hungry? Are there any food trucks available? In the morning there are restaurants like Chow and PublicUs. After drinking, where do you go to eat? Dino’s Liquor has pizza, pasta, burritos, frozen custard, 7 Eleven, and Venezuelan food right next door. The only reason our party left Atomic Liquor was to eat.
