Twin Peaks San Francisco California

Twin Peaks San Francisco California

Grandma takes her grandson to Twin Peaks when he visits San Francisco, California. The feeling is as majestic as when you sit on top of the world in San Francisco. Twin Peaks is a memory to save for a lifetime after a single view. No other view offers a visitor more of San Francisco than Twin Peaks, which is why our family takes all our visitors from out to town to the top of the peaks.

Zappos Gives Away Free Prom Dresses and Tuxedos Today

Zappos is known for giving generously to the community, but to see that giving spirit come out today first hand for the high school students living in Las Vegas, I was bewildered by how wonderful the company is. They make so many people happy. Mothers were proudly watching their children pick out gorgeous dresses for prom. Free dresses. Given away by Zappos community spirit. Daughters were given dresses for high school proms, manicured nails with bright colors. Hair stylists were helping. The shoes were in rows stacked high. Zappos transformed their entire mall in the old City Hall to give away free tuxedos, prom gowns flowing with beauty, attractive high heeled shoes with styled fashion, and then combined that generosity with free dancing lessons, hair dressers, free limo rides in luxury shuttles. Disc jockeys played music. Today was the first day in 2017 when the heated temperature raised above 90 degrees F. Zappos had bottled water, cool fans, food, everybody was simply happy dancing, shopping, and thinking about a bright future at their high school prom. I was honestly overwhelmed by how much their company embraces the community, especially when I met the proud mothers, who drove their daughters to find a dress. The atmosphere was surrounded with a recognized pride.

9 pm at night and I am still taking my time eating you amazing tempura spinach salad that I ordered around 11 am. As I ate lunch in your restaurant today, I noticed that all four tables sitting around me ordered your famous tempura spinach salad – The same one I am taking my time with. I brought the spinach and sauce into the office to share with my engineers. They all loved the taste. Absolutely divine. The curry aroma war unforgettable. The people near me order the salmon after their world famous spinach appetizer. The service was wonderful. Even the water – The simple glass of H2O water had flavor as the waiter told me that the water had been prepared that day with oranges and strawberries. Each day the water is different. Some days the water has fresh cut limes or cut green cucumbers with lemon. You can’t take a drink without bringing out flavor. I have to return with my family for the curry dishes with the salmon. We never heard of you. Your restaurant is across town from us, but we were at a shredding event with Councilman Bob Beers this morning at the Veteran’s Memorial near Costco and I said, “I have to cover a restaurant review today. Name a great restaurant around here. What do you recommend?” Without hesitation, Councilman Beers asked, “Do you enjoy Thai dishes? Try Nittaya’s Secret Kitchen on Rampart and Lake Mead.” Your menu was worth the drive. Each bite is inspirational: Spinach prepared with the texture of Japanese tempura but served with a delightful oil and vinegar sauce combining cashews, fresh shredded carrots, green onions rolls, red onions, herbs and oils. Delicious with the shrimp pad thai noodles. After eating, I still had enough to take to the office and eat now for dinner at nine o’clock at night. I wish I lived near Rampart Blvd. After leaving to see the patio dining outside, I went next door to discover the olive oil tasting at Big Horn Olive Oil Company. The bottles of olive oil and vinegar reminded me of the wineries in the Santa Barbara Wine Country. I learned about recipes from owner, Julie Young, and walked out with a gift for my friend’s Purim celebration.

Your place is as lovely as the Santa Barbara Wine Country. The tastes of the herbs, Sicilian, orange, these are olive oils and balsamic vinegars I am talking about – BIG HORN Olive Oil Company reminds you how good it is to shop in Summerlin. Dear Julie Young, owner of the Olive Oil Company;
Much appreciation for your gift. Delicious. Healthy. Plus the holiday of Purim is here. Rabbi Yitz Wyne reminds us that Passover is one month away. Julie showed me her paperwork from the Orthodox Union, Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America, and explained to me what was Kosher. Thank you Julie for the gift basket, gift ideas, and the recipe book for your custom blended vinegar and olive oils. Your gift baskets are outstanding. Exactly what I needed for my friend’s gift. I was at a shredding event this morning with Councilman Bob Beers and he highly recommended your store for gifts. Plus the Thai restaurant next door has that tempura spinach salad that all the chefs are talking about eating.

Dance with Me Summerlin Tivoli Village

I had an amazing time last night in Las Vegas as Councilman Bob Beers opens the new Dance Studio with the professionals dancers Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Valentin Chmerkovskiy, Tony Dovolani from the TV Show “Dancing with the Stars”. My wife watches them all the time. She loves the show. So today we are driving back to Tivoli Village to sign up our family for dance lessons.

Las Vegas is full of fabulous chefs. I conducted a breakfast interview with a famous chef at MGM Resorts who asked to meet me for breakfast at Cafe Leone in Tivoli Village. The time was early. As soon as Echo & Rig opened up across the street from Cafe Leone, the chef jumped up saying, “Come with me.” They took me inside Echo & Rig. They said, “It is the best!” The best chefs and bakers in Las Vegas enjoy eating at Echo & Rig. Yesterday the professionals on Dancing with the Stars opened their new dance studio named Dance with Me Summerlin across the street. All the people went to eat dinner at Echo & Rigs. The place was so packed that they had to put out tables and chairs for people to sit on as they waited. Each diner beamed with a smile. The place is gorgeous. The food delicious. Tivoli Village is masterful. Dining in Tivoli Village gives each bite the impression on the brain that you are dining in Europe. Combine the atmosphere with the taste at Echo & Rig and your experience is similar to traveling outside of Las Vegas for a weekend vacation in an exotic city separated from the gambling gaming town full of casinos.

Astounding flavor in the ginger dishes, curry, and the soup was surprisingly delicious because I didn’t see the shredded chicken in the bowl until I started to pay attention beyond the taste of the broth with was divine, exotic, much like the curry, exotic with great flavor. Plus everyone was so friendly. Each customer was treated like family. The servers took great care to make sure that everyone was given extraordinary service, greeting people, checking on their dishes, asking if they needed extra sauce or whether they preferred mild, spicy, medium. I was in Summerlin for a meeting. I had always heard about the awards that Archi’s earned, but this was my first time dining. I really enjoyed the ginger. In fact, I think I am going to stop writing, get in my car, and drive back to Archi’s for their lunch specials. The dishes are brought alive. The dining room is well lit, warm, comfortable, as I wrote earlier, guests feel like family when they are eating inside. Maybe because the movie theater is right next door. I bet a lot of families enjoy going to the movie theater before eating at Archi’s to enjoy their lunch and dinner. Summerlin has the best restaurants in Las Vegas. Not the LV Strip. Archi’s Thai Cafe proves that fact. When you go inside, look at all the awards they have received.

D’Angelo’s Bakery and Bread Santa Barbara, California
My friends in Europe think first of D’Angelo’s Bakery whenever the word “Santa Barbara” is mentioned or showcased on television. For years, I take all my international friends when they fly in from overseas to LAX straight north to D’Angelo’s Bakery at 25 West Gutierrez Street in Santa Barbara, California. Occasionally we just walk with their bread in our hands down State Street and munch on the flavor while sightseeing or shopping around the galleries. Each pastry is excellent. Each dish perfection. Tourists travel to Santa Barbara just to eat at D’Angelo’s Bread. I lived in Santa Barbara eighteen years ago and this was the case then. There are always lines of customers who will only eat at D’Angelo’s Bread.

Santa Barbara Roasting Company

Santa Barbara is peaceful, but the quality luxury that is found in Santa Barbara, especially for visitors from out of town like our family, Santa Barbara Roasting Company defines the quality of the perfect life living near the sea on the ocean called State Street with the fine restaurants serving unique seafood dishes, authentic chocolate handcrafted right next door to the Roasting Company. How unique is that? What a special city Santa Barbara is. The mocha aromas filled with mint while showcasing surf boards on the wall with fresh baked pastries behind glass. The friendly atmosphere. We arrived from Las Vegas, Nevada. Las Vegas has many casinos, gambling destinations, slot machines, Thus those reading, relaxing, enjoying their baked pastries with light coffee, you must imagine how nice Santa Barbara is for us to visit driving in from the Mojave desert, especially coffee houses with such quality as your Santa Barbara Roasting Company. Less we forget to mention the shops only inches away from this coffee house – Maya Chocolate, Yoga Soup, D’Angelo’s Bakery; Those places were simply one corner, one simple corner, of this seaside beach city. Santa Barbara is masterpiece.
